Register and pay
Fill in the form, pay ₹499 over UPI from your own app, and upload the screenshot. You'll get a reference number on screen straight away.
We confirm your slot
We match your payment against the screenshot and confirm on WhatsApp — usually within a day. There's no automated checkout here; a person checks every entry.
Come and perform
Arrive by 3:30 PM. Running order is drawn on the day, so nobody gets a fixed advantage. You get the floor for up to 10 minutes.
Judging and prizes
Judges watch every piece and score on the night. Prizes are announced at the end — ₹3,000 / ₹2,000 / ₹1,000.
Rules
The only
conditions.
- 01One performer per registration. This is a solo format — no duets, no group pieces.
- 02Your monologue may run up to 10 minutes. Going over time may cost you marks.
- 03Perform in any language. If it isn't Hindi, English or Kannada, tell us in the form so we can brief the judges.
- 04The piece can be original or published. If it's published, credit the writer and the play or film it's from.
- 05Bring your own props and costume, and keep them light — you set up and clear in under a minute.
- 06Arrive by 3:30 PM for check-in. Performance order is drawn on the day.
- 07The entry fee is non-refundable once your registration is confirmed. If the event is called off by us, you get a full refund.
- 08Judges' decisions are final.
Questions
Before you
enter.
Anyone who wants to perform a solo piece. There's no age limit and no requirement to be a trained or working actor — first-timers are genuinely welcome.
This one has happened
Thank you to
everyone who took the floor.
Monologue Competition ran on 19 September 2026. Registrations are closed and the evening is done — but the room is still here, and it is still the best place in Koramangala to stand up and try something.
